Risk, Quality, and Safety for New Nurses

Our third risk prevention strategy focus is on Medication Safety. For nursing and other applicable disciplines, administering medications is one of the most dangerous tasks we perform on a daily basis. This means it can become monotonous and repetitive to the point sometimes safety checks are overlooked. During the months of May and June, our webinars will be Risk/Quality/Safety for New Nurses and Handling Impaired Employees in Healthcare. Whether you are a new nurse or not, the class for new nurses is a great reminder of all things important in our daily activities. The Impaired Employee class helps guide leaders and coworkers on identifying a potentially impaired staff member and steps to take beyond that.
